Matt started as a karaoke host at the age of 12 in his aunt’s pub and at the same time started working as the DJ for his local youth club. Moving forward 21 years, Matt is now one of the most friendly & professional Disc Jockeys you could possibly meet.
Matt’s favourite music at private events is all things Motown, Soul & Disco classics. However, behind closed doors it’s Old Skool, as many years ago Matt was a nightclub DJ for a short time. However, his passion for music from all the Decades and the gratification he receives through seeing families come together to celebrate are the reasons he always show up as the best version of himself.
Matt’s hosting skills are second to none, as he spent many years performing with a close friend who was a Butlins Red Coat. From here Matt learnt many valuable skills including how to compere and host adult party games.
Equipment comprises the latest state-of-the-art high-end professional setup, yet at the same time aims to be different from the rest. The setup style & light show has a very traditional 1990s & early 2000s look, but with modern day technologies.
Even during the Covid-19 pandemic Matt has still continued to upgrade his equipment and has been performing Live DJ streams on social media to keep his skills polished ready for the day when we can all celebrate properly once again.
